party & vacation

last weekend we celebrated mark's birthday with a party. i was able to keep it a suprise almost until the day of the party.  mark figured that there was something going on wehn he found the hamburger  & hotdogs rolls that i hide in the bathroom closet! oh well.  he was still touched by the number of family & friends that gathered. 

we learned a new game too - i am still not sure how points are scored - but it is very fun!  it involves ski poles, empty beer (or root beer) bottles and a frisbie!  so much fun!

natalie's school had a graduation celebration.  it is hard to think that she will be going to kindergarten in september.  she had a hard time understanding that she HAS to wait all summer before going to her new school.  we received a letter from the school and found that she will be in Ms.DeFleice's room.  exciting!

our guinea hens are enjoying their new house.  on tuesday mark finished their outdoor pen - now they only have to find the window to realize that they can go outside and find bugs to eat!  we can not let them free range just yet in the yard - they still need to be trained that this is their home.  we don't want them to fly away!  

I do realize that the pictures are not in any order- I am using this post as a break from packing. we leave tomorrow for our cruise!.  we are heading out to bermuda with grandma, papa, johnmiles, leah, auntie, uncle bob, uncle alex and big grace!  fun times and many pictures will follow!
