we had beautiful sunny weather. it was a bit chilly, but not cold enough to keep the kids inside. natalie had her friend from daycare come over. her first friend birthday party. it was nice to meet presphone and her mom & dad. leah, johnmiles and uncle bob came as well as lily and tyler. grandma & papa and grandpa and jan rounded out the party.
we made pizza's and salad for everyone. grandma made a pink heart shaped cake - a special request made by natalie herself! i made cookie cups. a story for another time.
i think the kids and adults had a great time. it is wonderful to have such a great family & friends. thank you everyone. as i write this the kids are looking at natalie's presents and having fun playing with them. grandpa gave natalie a dollhouse. she LOVES it. and daniel is having fun with it too. grandma & papa gave us a new fairy tale book. i can't wait to start reading this with the kids.
but handsdown the favorite toy came from presphone - a whoopie cushon.
