we had a wonderful memorial day weekend and kick off to summer. saturday morning we took the kids to a farmers market in brunswick. it was great and something i definitely think we'll be doing again. after the market we went for a little bit of a hike. after naptime we headed over to jay & mauri's to celebrate jay's birthday. the kids had a blast as usual. again the highlight of the trip was driving the cars! natalie does a great job - although could use a little work on her steering. we had another bon fire - which daniel was very excited about.
sunday, grannie and grandpa came for a visit and we had lots of fun running around the yard and playing inside! the kids also helped me put up the flower boxes. i now think that my gardening is done for the season!
monday, we walked up to the parade in the morning. daniel just about fell over when the fire trucks went by. he just loves big trucks. and natalie pointed out all of the people who were riding bikes with no helmet and telling them that they were not being safe. when then packed a picnic lunch and went for a walk through the woods.
after nap time the sun was shining and it was getting hot - out came the sprinkler. the kids are so much fun - when they are happy!
