Catch up

It is Friday night, the dishes are done, the toys are picked up and the kids are both in bed, so I thought I'd take a few minutes to catch up on a few stories.

Time Out - is supposed to be used as a punishment. We have tried this method with Natalie but think that we will need to find another system. We have been using the bottom stair. The other day, Natalie wasn't listening very well and I placed her on the "naughty step". Natalie LOVES the naughty step. She willingly sits on the step and while sitting there will happily smile and wave at us. It is very hard not to laugh.

Monday night, Daniel and Natalie were sitting on the floor. Daniel spit up a little bit. Natalie came over to me and told me that "Daniel spilled a little."

Natalie continues to love bath time. She is more and more wanting to do things on her own. She now wants to wash herself. The fist thing that she washes is her armpits!!! And she wants to was Daniel's armpits too!

Daniel is trying to crawl. He wants to crawl so much. He is able to get up on all fours; he does little baby push-up; and can get himself into a sitting position from laying down. He is also trying to pull himself up to stand from sitting down I don't think it will be long until he is crawling or even walking.

Natalie can sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Ba Ba Black Sheep and parts of Jingle Bells. It is amazing to hear her.

We are looking forward to our Christmas celebrations and seeing Natalie's reaction to Santa's visit on Christmas eve. It is snowing tonight and before the kids went to bed we watched the snow fall. The snow falling from the sky amazes Natalie.
