Exciting Times

So since I posted last time we have had an exciting time - to say the least. For those who haven't heard yet. I was in a car accident last Thursday. I was the only one in the car at the time. And I am fine - although I can't say the same for the car. I am trying to get pictures of the car and when I do will post them.

After a lot of effort and time talking to sales guys (I have Mark to thank to for that). Mark did ALL of the leg work for the "new to us" car purchase. He went today during his break from work and finished the paperwork. Our new addition is a Kia Rondo.

Last Friday, we didn't have school (got to LOVE snow days). Mark went to find cell phone service to call parents and let everyone know that we were okay. While he was out, he got a flat tire. No big deal-right- he pulled over and started to change the tire. A nice gentlemen pulled over to help him out too! After a bit of a struggle, they got the spare on. All was good, Mark started on his way down the road - AND the spare was flat too!!!! In the end, the Jeep made it to Tire Warehouse were he had to put on 4 new tires!

The end to our weekend was much better then the start. As the pictures above show, Natalie, Grandma, PaPa and I went to see Elmo live on Saturday afternoon. I was a bit scared that Natalie would be afraid of the characters. Boy was I ever wrong. i haven't seen her so excited before. She had the biggest smile on her face. It was so neat to experience this with her. Still she tells people that she say Elmo singing and dancing.

I included the "sad" pictures of Daniel since someone commented that they have never seen him up-set before. Believe it me it happens!
