yet another t-ball season has come and gone. mark and i were coaches of the dark blue team. we had a great time and good group of kids and parents. this is our third year 'coaching' the kids. it amazes me how much the kids improve from the first game to the last. the last few games we were trying to get the kids to throw the ball to different bases. it always amazes me to see how much the kids learn over the course of the season. natalie & daniel do a wonderful hitting the ball, but don't like to field as much. i can't blame them - fielding isn't as exciting as hitting.
right before i took this video, natalie was standing behind a team mate who was hitting. after he hit the ball, he threw the bat and it hit natalie. she wasn't hurt - just startled. that is the reason for mark's comment. i can't wait until next year when we move up to coach pitch baseball/softball!
