6th birthday

natalie is now 6. it's hard even to think that this i possible.  it seems as if just yesterday we brought her home from the hospital.  and then we panicked. we hadn't a clue what to do next.  somehow we managed.  with lots of trial and error, laughter, goofiness, tears, and love - she is now 6 years old.

natalie is a smart girl. she loves being in school. she is coming home everyday with something new to tell us. she is learning to read better and better every day.  she has incredible math skills- i'm in trouble! she loves her brother. she is always asking him to play games, color, build with her.

natalie loves our cats.  cricket loves natalie.  each night at bedtime cricket will run and jump onto natalie's bed.  it is awesome!  cricket will snuggle close to her and they sleep together!

for her birthday party we had some family and friends over. the kids made ginger bread houses (they ate candy at 11 in the morning) and then we played balloon games.  

later that same day we went over to grandma & papa's to hang out with cousins. papa's old car WAS going to be in the local christmas parade - but it was snowing and it wasn't safe to drive in the snow.  But not wanting to pass up a photo op - we were able to capture theses.  shout out to grandma for finding the decorations and santa hats!
