long weekends

our long weekend has been a busy one so far. saturday was spent at the beach with friends jaclyn & lily. the kids had a blast, jumping in the water, building sand castles and smashing the castles(daniel's favorite!), burying each other in the sand. we made it home from the beach JUST in time for a nice long nap. have i mentioned how much i love nap time. usually everyone is much happier after nap - including me. after nap- it was time for playing in the back yard with our little pool and buckets. this way the kids washed all of the salt water & sand left on them!!! mark came home from a day of deep sea fishing just in time for dinner and to head over to a free community concert. wow hard to believe we packed all that into one day.
