spring time

today spring arrived - it was great outside. i was so happy to be able to open the window and be able to get some fresh air in the house.

today i meet grandma at the maine mall and had the kids picture taken. natalie loved had her picture taken, daniel on the other hand thought it would be fun to run and run and run. daniel was more interested in trying to join other families pictures. the people were able to get a few good shots of the kids. here is a link to see them. i did try to post them here - but wasn't able to and honestly i didn't try too hard.

daniel is continuing to talk and talk and talk. he is so funny. he is now stringing words together. such as while waiting for the pictures to be ready we went the the rides at the mall. there was boat. daniel was sitting on it and it made a noise. it scared him. the rest of the day he said over and over "the boat made a noise" he will repeat it until you respond to him.

after pictures we had some friends over for our first cookout of the season. kim, paul with their daughters abbey and lily and amie, mike and hannah came. it was such fun. the kids had a fun fun time playing with each other. i just love seeing the kids play together and having fun.

the first few pictures are of natalie i took on our way home (while stopped at a red light). she had a piece of gum and it fell out of her mouth and got stuck on her chin and the car seat - at least it wasn't her hair!
