since last time

a lot has happened since my last check in so i am going to try to fill in as much as possible.

we had the moxie festival in town - big event in little lisbon falls! the kids had a blast watching the parade and eating fries. natalie and daniel liked LOOKING at the animals at the petting zoo - but neither of them dared to actually pet anything! papa joined us for the parade and let daniel wear his red sox's hat to keep the sun off his head.

mark gave me a couple nights free and took the kids to his rents. i had fun doing some beading, reading and enjoying margaritas on the deck. while at grannie and grandpa's, the kids had fun riding in the tractor. natalie was even in charge of "fixing" it. she would take her screwdriver and pretend to fix it only to shriek in joy when it started back up!

i gave natalie another haircut - just to TRY to even things up. well natalie was more interested in trying to see the scissors and an even haircut was not for us. so i took her to the local salon where of course she sat perfectly still. the hairdresser was impressed that i stopped when i did. she said the biggest mistake is that people keep trying to fix their mistakes!

daniel is talking now. he says mommy, daddy, doggie, more, bite and mine. he also knows the sign for more and please. he loves doggies and will woof when he sees them. right now he thinks any kind of animal is a doggie. he knows where his nose is and is learning where his belly is.

here are a couple of video's of our adventures. the first one is from a fishing trip that mark with on with our friend chris. they ran into a group of dolphins. i think the dolphins were just as curious about the boat as mark and chris were in them!



daniel LOVES the car. he was very pleased with himself to be going for a ride. i love how he picks up the phone! miles is a very good driver.
