Since last time

We have had lots of fun since I last checked in. Natalie is watching Sesame Street - she is an ELMO girl! With Elmo on - I have a few minutes to update this.

Mark has finished installing the fence around that yard. We feel so much better with the fence in. Mark is getting ready for the last day of school (which is in a few weeks). He decided that he is not going to teach summer school this year, but rather is going to stay home with Daniel. It will save us some daycare money, be fun for Dad and Daniel to hang out and I like it since we will not have to send Daniel to daycare until he is almost 6 months old.

Last Thursday, Natalie, Daniel and I meet Grandma and Leah at a park/beach. This was our first trip the beach his summer! And Daniel's first ever trip to the beach. Although he cried/slept through his first trip - I think he had fun. Both Natalie and Leah took long nap that afternoon!!!!

This is not Daniel's first bath - but thought we should get a couple of photo's of the kitchen sink bath for his high school year book!!!!

Daniel has smiled - but the trick is to try to catch it with the camera. Here are a couple of my attempts.

I have been having fun during my time away from work in the sunshine. I have been able to do a lot in the garden - or rather trying to create the garden. I'll get a couple of photos and post them next time. I am keeping in touch with work so that no one forgets about me. The university is going through a financial hard time and lots of "restructuring" . I don't want the office to get used to me not being there. I am going into the office next week to talk about my return to work.

Today we are going to have a family photo taken. I spent yesterday picking out the outfits for everyone, washing and ironing. Natalie and Daniel got baths last night - but I have a feeling that their clean look will not last to the afternoon. It should be an adventure to get the pictures taken!!!
