Today is a day to remember. Today, Natalie ate a vegetable !!!!!! And we didn't have to hide them in ketchup, dressing or other food. We have been offering her vegetables for a long time now. At first she would burst into tears, say NO and hand them back to us. Just last night I tried again to give her something(a carrot I think) and was politely told NO and she handed it back to me. Tonight for the the fun of it I placed a couple of green beans on her plate. I waited for the tears. That didn't happen, she picked one up and took a bite. We sat there stunned. I whispered under my breath to Mark not to make a big deal. We did nothing and she ate both green beans and then asked for more. I almost fell off my chair. Needless to say - Mark is out at the store stocking up on green beans. Today green beans who knows what she will eat tomorrow, tomatoes, carrots, green peppers.
Elaine, our Healthy Families, visitors came today. Natalie quickly emptied her bag - as she now knows that's where the toys are! Elaine brought some "colors" and Natalie quickly went to work coloring the floor. Good thing for washable markers. Elaine was very impressed that Natalie was able to put the tops back on the markers. I proudly said that she has been able to do that for a while now.
Daniel is growing by leaps and bounds. Each day he is gaining more control of his head. He is also putting weight on his legs now. Everyday he is more alert and gaining personality. Daniel and I have group tomorrow - so we will have another weight update.

haha! That's awesome. I love that she denied you veggies... but I also love that she's actually eating them now! Bonus! Definitely stock up on the green beans and hope she likes them for the long term!
